Weird Domain Change/ Subscriber Issue

Jessica Jan 14, 2015 08:11AM EST

About six months ago, my domain expired. I had it on auto-renew and my credit card was changed, so it was out for about six hours before I was about to recover in. When that happened, my subscriber count in Feedburner went from 1200 to 20. It never recovered on there. I just switched to FeedBlitz yesterday, and already my count is over 300, which is better, but I know I have more subscribers "out there" somewhere. Here's my weird question.

Initially, my blog was I switched my domain name to I kept the same original feed via feed burner of when I made the switch.

I used to build the FeedBlitz Feed. Should I do a separate site for I still own both and they both redirect to I hope that makes some sense, but this has driven me insane for months and FeedBurner (shocking) never responded to my questions. Thanks so much!

Hello Jessica,

Since your old domain's feed redirects to your new domain's feed, all your RSS subscribers that were subscribed are now here at FeedBlitz.
You can change your FeedBlitz feed URI from /TheSoutherBelleBaby to /MyCoffeeisCold if you prefer.

Most likely the rest of the subscriber count from Feedburner is your email subscribers.

Your FeedBlitz account is RSS-Only.
If you switch your plan, you can retrieve the email subscribers from Feedburner.
