How to Template the Verification Instructions Email

Hello, I would like to know how to apply a template to the verification email. It appears plain and unbranded. I have developed an Email Template, but how do I select it for use with all my mailings, including all the automatic notices like this? I tried to follow these instructions, but I'm afraid they are a little out of date:

Following the instructions about, under menu "I want to..." there is no option called FeedBlitz default activation reminder page. Perhaps I am overlooking something. I am also not sure where to click on "Newsletter" from the Account dashboard. Please point me in the right direction.

Yes, we are currently focused on a complete overhaul for our UI and the support center has not been updated for each intermediate change.

The activation email, by default, will have two potential styles by default.

If you use a classic form or a third party via our API the template of the activation email will be the template of the newsletter.

If you use a SmartForm, the template will have the CSS of the SmartForm applied.

To change what your SmartForm looks like, log in, select your list, click the I want to button, choose Settings, schedule. Select the third tab and look in the third paragraph for the link that references activation email and click that. You will be taken to a text editor. You can make changes to the subject line and text.

Remember to keep it simple and focused on the act of clicking the confirmation link.

Below the text editor is a checkbox that states: Format the content with the list's template if you tick the box, the list's template will be applied. If you untick the box it will be sent with only the content you have in the text editor.

You can then review the activation email after clicking the box in the teal footer. If you are happy with the preview click Use this activation email in the bottom left. If it needs work, use your browser's back button.
