Podcast feed

Doug Aug 10, 2014 06:57PM EDT

I have a Typepad blog that has a podcast category where I post my podcast episodes. The feed (Feedburner) somehow got messed up with iTunes and I wanted to stay with Typepad, so I set up a blog designated just for my podcast with it's own domain (therefore, it doesn't have a podcast category - the whole blog is devoted to only podcast episodes.

I don't want to migrate the podcast from Feedburner since that feed isn't functioning properly with it's integration to iTunes. Therefore, I've set it up with the new blog with a FeedBlitz feed. I now need to test it with iTunes and submit the podcast (different name - rebranded) to iTunes and cancel my old podcast with iTunes.

I went into the iTunes store and typed in the name of my podcast and it showed me my old podcast which has a different title?????? Do I need to tell iTunes to cancel my old podcast before trying to test my new podcast feed?

So which of the urls listed in my feeds on FeedBlitz do I submit to iTunes and other sites?

The autocast feature in FeedBlitz should accomplish what you are trying to do.

Update the FeedBurner source to be FeedBlitz and the Autocast tags will tell iTunes where to find your current feed.
