What are Custom Fields and Tags?

A custom field is a way of gathering any additional information on a subscriber other than an email address. The information gathered from a field is called a tag.

Another way to look at it is a custom field creates the conditions for a tag to be applied. When you're working with custom fields and tagging, you're building a strong foundation for advanced email marketing practices such as segmentation and personalization.

Where do I find Custom Fields and Tags in my FeedBlitz Account?

Your Custom Fields and Tags can be found in your Left-hand menu and selecting Subscribers > Tags & Fields.

When you take a look at your custom fields dashboard, you'll notice there are already pre-set fields created which track engagement analytics for your mailings, as well as any fields or tags you've created yourself.
