How to Save Custom Content Blocks in the VME

On the Content tab of the VME, we provide plenty of content block options to offer a jump-start in creating a template or mailing. All of these blocks, however, are set to show very minimal styling through their default settings but have no fear, you can also Save blocks you've edited to easily grab and drag into a different mailing or template at a later time. 

With custom blocks, you’re able to drag and drop a block into your mailing—let’s say a button, for example—make the necessary design changes (color, font, corners, etc.) then SAVE that block. Your saved custom blocks will have their own tab under Contents and be available to drag and drop into any subsequent mailing or template for any list in your account.
This is incredibly helpful for brand consistency!

To save a custom content block, start by selecting the block you would like to save:

Then click the Save icon that appears in the block's menu options:

Name your saved content block and press OK:

Your saved custom content block will now be available in your library for future use:
