On the rare occasion you hit send on a campaign too early - or happen to notice a typo immediately after hitting send - you can easily halt the mailing.
After hitting send on a mailing and choosing to continue, you'll be taken back to the mailing list dashboard.
Scroll down to see the Recently Sent and Scheduled Mailings section and you'll notice two icons:
The green airplane signals a mailing that is currently sending. Next to this icon you will see the option to stop the mailing.
Choosing Stop will trigger the following pop up where you can either confirm or cancel the stop:
The time frame you have to stop a mailing after hitting send depends on the size of your mailing list. The larger your list, the more leeway you have in stopping your mailing.
